Course Objectives | Students will be able to understand the terminology of legal system either in source or in target language, and translate legal texts such as laws or written agreements. |

Course Description | This course introduces students to a specialized area of translational activity: legal translation. The course will include topics such as the nature and characteristics of legal language, sources of difficulty in legal translation and equivalence in translating legal texts. |
